Comments

The Bank van de Nederlandse Antillen replaced its predecessor, the Centrale Bank van Curaçao, in 1962, and this series was among the first to fully reflect the consolidated identity of the six-island federation under the reorganized institution. Enschedé's Haarlem facility had been supplying notes to the Dutch Caribbean territories since the colonial period, and the relationship continued seamlessly through the transition to autonomy within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1954.

The five-year print window spanning 1967–1972 masks what was a relatively modest print run — the Antilles population across all islands combined was under 220,000 at the time.
