Reverse description Blue on multicolour underprint. The revised Surinamese Coat of Arms is centrally positioned, differing from the arms used on the 1957 issue. A serial number consisting of two letters and six digits appears in the order number field, and a text block at the bottom centre cites Article 260 of the Surinaams Wetboek van Strafrecht, warning against the forgery and misuse of banknotes.
