Obverse description A crowned Polish eagle displayed in high relief dominates the central field, its wings spread symmetrically and its head turned to the right, rendered in a bold Art Deco style. The eagle's breast bears no shield, consistent with the early Second Republic coinage type. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA is arranged around the periphery, interrupted at the top by the date 1925 flanked by two dots. A small mint mark 'W' appears to the lower left of the eagle, identifying the Warsaw Mint.
