| Additional information |
Poland's first post-partition coinage came after over a century without a sovereign Polish mint. The 1923 brass issues were struck in Warsaw following the re-establishment of the Mennica Państwowa, which had been formally reconstituted in 1924 — meaning this piece was actually produced by the Mint of Paris under contract while domestic facilities were still being organized.
