| Obverse description | At left, an oval intaglio vignette presents a standing female figure engaged in coffee harvesting, set against a fine guilloche underprint. The large denomination numeral '5' appears at center-right, flanked by two serial numbers, with the issuing authority title 'BANQUE NATIONALE DE LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI' across the top and 'CINQ GOURDES' along the lower margin. Three signature lines at the foot of the note are attributed to 'LE PRÉSIDENT', 'LE DIRECTEUR', and 'UN ADMINISTRATEUR', with a legal tender clause in small characters above them. |
