Reverse description Central device consisting of a large Tudor rose in high relief, surmounted by an ornate royal crown with a floral finial. At the heart of the rose, a shield-shaped cartouche bears the royal cypher R flanked by the date 18-95. The circular legend RABODONANDRIANIMPOINIMERINA runs along the upper periphery, while MADAGASCAR appears along the lower periphery, both in Latin capital letters. Small decorative elements, including a lion passant and a floral ornament, appear as stops between the legends, with a milled border encircling the entire design.
