| Obverse description | The aluminum-bronze center field bears the large denomination numeral '5 FR.' in raised relief. Surrounding it, the legend 'CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA' arcs around the upper portion of the center disc, with the date '2003' at the left and the Bern mint mark 'B' at the bottom. The copper-nickel outer ring is decorated with an intricate continuous scrollwork design of stylized acanthus leaves and foliate motifs in high relief, framing the bimetallic composition with a refined decorative border. |
