Reverse description The large numeral 5 dominates the central field, flanked on either side by decorative laurel and wheat-ear sprays curving outward from the base. Above the numeral, the mint mark BP. appears beneath the Hungarian People's Republic coat of arms — a striped shield surmounted by a five-pointed red star and encircled by wheat sheaves tied with a ribbon — with the date split 19 and 90 to the left and right of the arms respectively. The denomination FORINT is inscribed along the lower rim in capital Latin letters.
