Obverse description A crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings raised, facing left, rendered in high relief against a stippled field. The eagle bears a small crown on its head and a larger royal crown is positioned above it at the top of the field. The inner border consists of a ring of eighteen five-pointed stars evenly spaced around the circumference. The mint master's initials 'F C' appear in the lower field on either side of the eagle's tail feathers.
