| Reverse description | Two confronted imperial dragons in high relief, each facing inward toward the center of the field, their bodies coiling downward with clawed feet and scaled tails meeting at the base. A flaming pearl or jewel surmounts the design at the top center, positioned between the upward-rearing heads of the two dragons. The denomination 五分 (5 Fen) is inscribed in large Chinese characters in two lines at the center of the field between the dragons. The design is enclosed within a decorative Greek-key (meander) border along the inner rim. |
