| Reverse description | At center, a sinuous Chinese dragon is depicted in high relief, facing forward with a flaming pearl at its center. An English legend arcs above and below the dragon along the coin's rim, identifying the province of issue and the denomination in candareens. Manchu script characters flank the dragon to the left and right in the field, identifying the issuing empire. The design follows the standard format established for Qing provincial dragon coinage of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. |
