| Obverse description | Central device consisting of the stylized emblem of the Federal Reserve Bank of China — a circular globe motif with the character 中 (China) at its centre, enclosed within concentric rings. Two six-pointed stars flank the emblem in the field. The legend 中國聯合準備銀行 (Federal Reserve Bank of China) curves around the upper portion of the coin, while the date legend 中華民國三十年 (Republic of China Year 30, shown for year 1941) runs along the lower portion. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |

The design is enclosed within a decorative border of small rectangular dashes, with a plain inner field surrounding the architectural motif. |
