The goddess Europa, with her hair blowing in the wind and dotted with stars, is dressed in floating flags, reminiscent of the flags on their poles on the left of the coin. 12 circles with the sign € symbolize the 12 stars of the European flag. The word `EUROPA` on the vertical gives the series its name. The year 2013 and the different are located at the bottom center of the coin.
