| Obverse description | The central copper-nickel core displays the German Federal Eagle in high relief, accompanied by the mint mark letter and the date 2018. The distinctive orange polymer middle ring separates the core from the outer ring, which bears the face value '5 EURO', the issuer legend 'BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND', and the twelve stars of the European Union arranged along the circumference. The design was engraved by Stefanie Radtke. The interplay of the three distinct metallic and polymer zones creates a visually striking tricolor effect characteristic of this collector series. |
