| Obverse description | The nickel-clad centre features a relief map of Finland occupying the right portion of the field, rendered with fine topographic detail against a polished dark background. To the left of the map, the denomination '5 €' is inscribed in bold numerals. The aluminium bronze outer ring carries the bilingual country name 'SUOMI FINLAND' arcing across the upper portion, with the date '2018' inscribed along the lower left.
