Austria's "Blumen" (Flowers) series has quietly become one of the more consistent copper collector programs from any European mint in recent years. This narcissus issue continues that run, struck in plain copper rather than the bimetallic or niobium formats the Austrian Mint is better known for internationally.
Copper strikes from Vienna are prone to uneven surface color within the first months after minting — a known characteristic of the alloy at this diameter, not a strike defect.
