| Reverse description | A highly detailed full-colour reproduction of the famous clock face of the Elizabeth Tower (commonly known as Big Ben) at the Palace of Westminster, London, occupies the entire field. The white enamelled dial is bordered by an ornate Gothic-style cast-iron chapter ring bearing Roman numerals and decorated with elaborate quatrefoil and cross motifs in dark grey. A central rose window-inspired pattern rendered in gold tracery fills the dial centre, from which two black Gothic-style clock hands extend, indicating approximately ten minutes past twelve. The coin's outer rim is highlighted with a gilt gold-coloured border, accentuating the coloured design. |
