| Obverse description | The quartered municipal coat of arms of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is displayed centrally, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked on either side by ornate palm fronds. The motto scroll beneath the shield reads SEGURA TIENE LA PALMA. The legend ESPAÑA appears vertically along the left field, while LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA arcs along the upper right periphery. The Madrid mint mark (M crowned) appears at lower left, and the date 2010 is inscribed at the base. The entire design is bordered by a continuous beaded rim. |
