Additional information

Luxembourg's annual flower coin program, which began in 2010, dedicates each issue to a native wildflower — the cornflower edition marking the sixth in the series. These bimetallic pieces were never intended for circulation; the Nordic gold center paired with a sterling silver ring exists purely for the collector market, and official mintage was capped accordingly. Henri I is the reigning Grand Duke, having succeeded his mother Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte in 2000.
