Obverse description The full coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino occupies the central field, depicting a heart-shaped shield charged with three towers atop rocky peaks, surmounted by a mural crown. The shield is flanked by an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, with a ribbon scroll at the base bearing the motto LIBERTAS. The legend REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO curves along the upper periphery, and the engraver's name BINO BINI appears in the lower right field.
