| Reverse description | The reverse presents a central vignette adapted from Albrecht Dürer's celebrated woodcut 'The Holy Family with Three Hares' (c. 1497–1498), depicting three hares in dynamic interplay amid lush foliate vegetation. Dürer's well-known 'AD' monogram appears to the right of the central composition. The date '2026' is inscribed in the field, referencing both the year of issue and the artistic legacy of the Renaissance master. The design captures Dürer's characteristic fine-line graphic style in relief form. |

| Additional information |
Albrecht Dürer's watercolor of a young hare, completed in 1502, never left his personal collection during his lifetime and was almost certainly used as a studio reference rather than a commissioned work. It passed through the Habsburgs and now sits in the Albertina in Vienna — which explains the Austrian claim to the subject. This copper issue is the third in a themed trio, the earlier two pieces having appeared in silver and niobium formats.
