| Obverse description | A highly detailed rendering of Albrecht Dürer's celebrated 1502 watercolour study 'Feldhase' (Young Hare) occupies the central field, depicting a European hare in three-quarter profile facing left, its fur rendered with exceptional engraved texture. Behind the hare, a naturalistic arrangement of grasses, reeds, and broad-leaved plants fills the upper right portion of the field. Dürer's monogram — the interlaced 'AD' cipher — appears to the lower right of the composition, faithful to the original artwork. The date 2016 is inscribed along the lower edge of the field. The design faithfully adapts the masterwork held in the collection of the Albertina museum in Vienna. |
