| Reverse description | The reverse features a detailed relief of the lunette from the main portal of the Church of San Giorgio in Campobasso, one of the oldest ecclesiastical structures in the region. The lunette is richly decorated with intricate carved motifs of leaves, grape clusters, and other vegetal ornamental elements rendered in a Romanesque style. At the centre of the composition appears the Agnus Dei (mystical lamb), a traditional Christian iconographic symbol. The denomination 5 EURO and the engraver's name MOMONI appear in the lower field, accompanied by the series title ITALIA DELLE ARTI, the mint year 2012, the mint mark R, and the city name CAMPOBASSO. |
