Reverse description The heraldic shield of the Savonia Province occupies the centre of the coin, rendered in the silver-toned copper-nickel inner disc. The shield, surmounted by a mural crown composed of beads, displays the traditional arms of Savonia featuring two crossed bills (mattocks) above a serpentine water motif. The denomination numeral 5 appears to the left of the shield in the gold-coloured outer ring, flanked by the mint master's initial T and the Mint of Finland privy mark to the right. The legend EURO is inscribed along the lower arc of the outer ring, with the date 2014 appearing at the top.
