| Obverse description | In the centre, stylized version of the heraldic emblem of the Guardia di Finanza, that interprets the concept of security and provides a future vision of the role of the Corps, celebrating the past by combining it with the future and the challenges it will continue to face. This emblem includes various elements: the mountain, the sea and the sky, natural environments where the body operates, the griffin, a mythological animal which, according to legend, watches over the Treasury, represented by the State treasury, and the turreted crown. In exergue, the dates `1774-2024`, respectively, the year of the establishment of the Guardia di Finanza and the year of the coin’s issue; below, the name of the designer “A.MASINI”; around, “REPUBBLICA ITALIANA”.
