Obverse description	The obverse, designed by Josef Kaiser, features a stylized primrose (Primula) rendered as a flowering tree with multiple five-petalled blossoms rising from a ribbed vase or plinth at the base of the design, set within a raised inner ring. The date appears in the lower central field, flanked by the plant's stem. The legend FÜNF EURO CENT curves along the inner ring, with FÜNF on the left and EURO CENT on the right. Twelve five-pointed stars encircle the entire design along the outer rim, referencing the European Union emblem.
