| Reverse description | The reverse, common to all eurozone 5 euro cent coins, features a stylized globe rendered to display Europe in geographic relation to Africa and Asia, positioned to the left of center. The face value '5' appears in large numerals to the right, with the inscription 'EURO CENT' completing the denomination legend. The engraver's initials 'LL' (for Luc Luycx) appear on the globe design. The twelve stars of the European Union encircle the entire composition along the outer rim, and a fine graining band marks the inner border of the coin. |
