Obverse description Draped armored bust of Sigismund Ludwig, Count of Dietrichstein, facing right, with flowing long hair, a prominent beard, and an elaborate lace collar over plate armor. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque portrait style typical of mid-17th century Central European coinage. The date 1638 appears in the lower field beneath the truncation. The Latin legend encircles the bust within a beaded inner border, identifying the issuer by name and title.
