Obverse description Draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, with his characteristic elongated chin and flowing long wig with elaborate curls cascading over his shoulders, wearing armored cuirass with decorative mantle. A small heraldic shield is visible at the lower left of the bust. The surrounding legend in Latin reads continuously around the periphery of the coin within a beaded border.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a separate crown and both beneath a central imperial crown. The eagle's breast bears the elaborate quartered Habsburg dynastic shield depicting the arms of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, and Burgundy. The date 1703 appears in the left field and the mintmark NB in the right field. The Latin legend encircles the design within a beaded border.
