Obverse description Central shield bearing the quartered arms of Salzburg and the Keutschach family, surmounted by an archiepiscopal mitre and crozier, all set within a beaded inner circle. The field displays the date split across the lower portion of the shield. The composition is rendered in the bold, relief style typical of early sixteenth-century South German die-cutting.
