Obverse description Draped bust of Bishop John Philip of Schönborn facing right, with flowing long hair in the Baroque style, wearing ecclesiastical vestments adorned with decorative detail. Below the effigy, a large quartered heraldic shield displays the arms of the see of Würzburg combined with the personal arms of the Schönborn family, surmounted by a mitre. The surrounding Latin legend runs continuously along the milled border, identifying the bishop by his full titulature.
