| Obverse description | Draped bust of Bishop Karl II (Charles II of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn) facing right, set within a beaded or leaved inner circle that is not interrupted by the portrait. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy, commencing at 12 o'clock. The portraiture is rendered in a Baroque style characteristic of the mid-to-late seventeenth century, with fine detail in the drapery and facial features. |

| Reverse description | A large heraldic shield bearing the composite coat of arms of the Bishopric of Olomouc occupies the central field, with a smaller escutcheon superimposed at its chief displaying the personal arms of the Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn family. Above the shield, ecclesiastical and secular insignia are displayed: a crozier, a mitre, a crown, and a sword. The surrounding Latin legend, contained within a leaved inner circle commencing at 1 o'clock, incorporates a divided date at its conclusion. At the base of the design, two pyramidal or obelisk-like ornaments appear within a cartouche. |
