Reverse description A bold six-armed decorative cross dominates the reverse field, with each arm terminating in stylized floral or lily motifs and acanthus-leaf ornaments filling the angles between the arms. At the center of the cross, within a small hexagonal cartouche, appears the denomination mark 'V DUCAT' in raised letters. The fineness '980' is inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the cross. The circular legend 'PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI' arcs across the upper field, while 'AUREUS MAGNUS' fills the lower field, separated by small rosette stops at either side.
