Reverse description Central design features a stylised six-pointed cross with elongated arms, each terminating in an ornate lily or fleur-de-lis motif, with additional floral and foliate elements filling the angles between the arms. At the centre, a shield-shaped cartouche bears the Roman numeral V above the word DUCAT. The fineness mark 980 appears at the base of the cross. The surrounding legend reads PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI at the top and AUREUS MAGNUS at the bottom, separated by small decorative rosettes.
