| Obverse description | Accolated busts of Marie Jeanne Baptiste, the regent mother, and the young Duke Victor Amadeus II facing right, both richly draped in contemporary baroque costume with elaborate lace and armour details. The mother's effigy is positioned slightly behind and to the left, while the Duke's bust overlaps in the foreground, his hair rendered in flowing long curls characteristic of the late 17th century.
