Additional information

Singapore's Lunar series has been produced continuously since 1967, making it one of the longest-running bullion programs in Southeast Asia. The Tiger cycle of 2010 falls within the twelfth iteration of the twelve-year zodiac rotation for this series, a point that tends to drive collector demand among those assembling complete type sets by animal.

The .9999 fineness was adopted by the Singapore Mint in the late 1980s, ahead of most Western sovereign mints, as part of a deliberate push to compete directly with the Canadian Maple Leaf in the Asian investment market.
