| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia occupies the central field, depicting a shield charged with a sailing vessel at sea, a palm tree, a dove in flight, and a rising sun; above the shield, a ribbon scroll bears the national motto THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE. The date 2010 is divided across the lower flanks of the shield, with '20' at left and '10' at right.
