| Obverse description | The coat of arms of Barbados occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by a pride of fish on the left and a pelican on the right, surmounted by a helmeted crest with two crossed pieces of sugarcane. A scroll beneath the shield bears the national motto in the legend PRIDE AND INDUSTRY.
