| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau at center, depicting a crowned Neptune figure seated and holding a trident, accompanied by a mermaid to his right, a treasure chest to his left, and a crescent moon and star above, all within a shield-shaped cartouche decorated with floral and wave motifs. A traditional outrigger canoe with a figure paddling appears above the shield. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper rim, flanked by six five-pointed stars on either side. The series name RAINBOW'S END appears within the lower portion of the shield, and the denomination 5$ is inscribed at the bottom of the field. |
