| Obverse description | The obverse features the shield-shaped coat of arms of the Republic of Palau prominently centered in the field, depicting a seated Neptune figure holding a trident, accompanied by a mermaid, surrounded by waves, a crescent moon, and a star, with a treasure chest to the left.
