Reverse description The reverse depicts a dynamic aerial combat scene commemorating Operation Desert Storm. Two F-15E Strike Eagle jet fighters are shown in flight in the upper portion of the field, ascending against a background of stylised clouds, with a ring of six-pointed stars encircling the composition. Ground forces including tanks and military vehicles are rendered in low relief in the lower field. To the right, a decorative cartouche bears the inscriptions 'IN GOD WE TRUST' and 'LIBERTY'. The legend 'DESERT STORM' arcs prominently along the upper rim, and the date '1991' appears in the exergue, accompanied by a small mint mark to the left.
