Obverse description The national coat of arms of Belize occupies the central field, depicting two woodcutters as supporters flanking a quartered shield bearing a mahogany tree, crossed tools, and a sailing ship, all above a scroll inscribed with the national motto. The shield and supporters are enclosed within an ornamental wreath of local flora. The country name BELIZE arcs along the upper legend, and the date appears in the lower field.
