Obverse description Central intaglio portrait of Abraham Lincoln faces right within an oval frame, rendered in green and black against a fine guilloche underprint. The Federal Reserve Seal and Treasurer's signature appear to the left of the vignette, while the scalloped Treasury Seal and Secretary of the Treasury's signature are positioned to the right. Reverse description The Lincoln Memorial is rendered in precise intaglio line engraving at centre, set within an oval cartouche flanked by scrollwork ornaments.
