| Obverse description | Heart-shaped flan with a mirrored proof field. The national coat of arms of Palau is depicted centrally, showing a traditional canoe above a shield bearing a figure of Neptune seated amid coral and sea life, with the inscription RAINBOWS END in the exergue of the shield. The curved legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs above the arms along the upper border, flanked on either side by a row of five-pointed stars. The denomination 5$ appears in the lower field beneath the arms. |

Palau's "Endless Love" series, launched in the mid-2000s, was part of a broader Pacific island commemorative boom driven almost entirely by European collector-market distributors — principally in Germany and Austria — who contracted small sovereign issuers to produce themed bullion-adjacent pieces that Palau itself had no domestic use for. The coins never circulated on the island.
