Obverse description Right-facing diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupying the right portion of the field against a contrasting dark background, modelled by Irene Revesz-Bahar (initials IRB visible below the neck truncation). The denomination '5 DOLLARS' and the issue year '2018' are inscribed in the field to the left and lower right respectively. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper left rim, while 'NIUE ISLAND' arcs along the upper right rim. A decorative Gothic ornamental frieze, referencing medieval Bohemian heraldic motifs, runs along the lower portion of the field, accompanied by the Czech Mint mark 'CM' and the fineness mark 'Au 9999' in the exergue.

Reverse description The reverse depicts a richly detailed composition commemorating George of Poděbrady (Jiří z Poděbrad), the Hussite King of Bohemia. A Hussite chalice and a Catholic cross are prominently featured alongside the Crown of Saint Wenceslas, symbolising the union of two religious peoples under one sovereign. The Gothic spires of the Týn Church in Prague are rendered in the background, evoking the king's historical era. The legend 'JIŘÍ Z PODĚBRAD · KRÁL DVOJÍHO LIDU' arcs along the rim, with the founding year '1458' inscribed in the field.
