| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and draped, as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupying the central field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim and COOK ISLANDS along the upper right rim, both in raised Latin lettering.
