| Reverse description | An elaborate mandala-style composition depicting all twelve signs of the Zodiac arranged radially around a central stylised sun face, each sign rendered as a high-relief coloured figure or creature separated by ornate scrolling ironwork. Each zodiac symbol is engraved on a small medallion in the inner ring surrounding the central sun motif. The twelve signs are individually named in Latin letters along the outer border in their respective positions. The engraver's initials JM appear in the field near the Virgo segment. The entire design is finished in antiqued silver with selective colour application highlighting each zodiac figure. |
