Reverse description The reverse presents a dramatic high-relief antiqued composition depicting a Shaolin kung fu monk in a low defensive stance, his right hand extended in a snake-style guard position. An enormous coiling serpent rears above and behind the figure, its body rendered in deeply sculpted scales; its eye is set with a faceted amber-toned Swarovski crystal. A secondary coiling dragon appears in lower relief in the background. To the lower right, a circular gilt medallion surrounded by a Greek-key border bears the Chinese character 蛇 (snake) in gold-toned relief. The vertical legend SHAOLIN KUNG FU is inscribed along the left border in Latin script.
