| Obverse description | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted in right-facing profile with a diadem and draped bust. The portrait is set within a recessed circular inner field, framed by an elaborate rose gold-toned background of flowing arabesques and foliate scrollwork in high relief extending across the entire coin surface.
