| Obverse description | The right-facing diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupies the left half of the obverse field; the engraver's initials IRB appear on the truncation. The denomination '5 DOLLARS' and date '2019' are inscribed in the lower left field. To the right, set against a deeply mirrored proof background, is a decorative cross-shaped arrangement of alchemical and hermetic symbols in relief, accompanied by an anthropomorphic sun motif. The curved legend '· ELIZABETH II · NIUE ISLAND ·' runs along the upper periphery, and the Czech Mint mark (ČM) appears within the symbolic composition at lower centre. |
